boot sizing online

I currently have a pair of Nocona's that are very similar to this style. I wear a 10D snugly in a pointed tip boot. I want to be able to wear a thicker sock and wonder if I should go up to a 10EE or maybe an 11D. I'm a bit apprehensive on ordering boots online because I won't know how they fit until I get them. Any suggestions?

I do a lot of two-stepping, waltzing, and line dancing and have had to have my soles replaced twice now.
