Darn Good product

I have the pleasure and the joy of having one of these hat's, I wear it nearly every day and have been for the last 15 months. I wear it in nearly every type of weather one get's here in the Highlands of Scotland, which can be every season in just one day! I have never ever had a problem with it, it has not faded, it is real comfortable to wear, it sits on my head real good and when ( which is not very often lately) the sun is shining, it shades my eyes really good. I ride my horse a lot in the Scottish High country and this hat is perfect for this. I would also add that it is very well made and stands nearly everything that is thrown at it. I am going to get another one later this year and I DO NOT buy rubbish.

A Really Happy Wife!

I purchased this item for my lady wife, especially for her to wear at a C & W weekend in July this year. When I gave it to her she absolutely adored it and stated to me that it was really great, well made and exactly what she would have bought herself if she had known where to get one. Now my lady wife is real hard to please when picking clothes, but this item was in her own words " Fantastic, you have real good taste and I love it!". If anyone can please my lady wife when it comes to an item of clothing such as this one, well there is nothing better. She is even nagging me now to buy her another one but in a different color. That is the best recommendation anyone can give or get.

Frontier Engineer Shirt

A few years back I purchased one of these from another different company, it lost it's color within a year, also a few of it's buttons, then it tore, absolute rubbish and it was not a cheap one either! I saw this item not so long ago on Shepler's web site and thought I would get one from this company. It turns out it was the total correct decision,. The shirt is great, fits me perfectly, is well made, has kept it's color even after many washes and so far, even when I am struggling though tough countryside,it has yet to lose a single button. I could not ask for a better Engineer Shirt. I would recommend this to all of my friends without a doubt.

The Stetson I ordered was exactly as stated, no defects, correct size and the color was spot on. I got this item to go with my Plains Indian Frilled jacket .

Hello, please would you be kind enough as to tell me the complete length of the belt in the size large? Also I am wondering if it is at all possible (if the belt is not long enough to encircle my lady wife's waist) could you, would you be at all possible to obtain the Buckle only, as she absolutely has fallen in love with this item, plus it would really cheer her up as she has just been diagnosed with Diabetes. Thank you for your help, also for your serious consideration and hopeful compassion in this matter. Does Suede Turn Black When It Gets Wet?
Hi, the only way these boots will turn black is if you neglect them and not take good care of them. They are a good wearing boot, I have been out in pouring rain in mine, even deep snow and on returning the first thing I do is stuff them with old newspapers, then let them dry by a radiator, but not too hot. Then I give them a good brush and they come up fine. The main problem with these boots is the owners lack of care.

Do they have a complete rubber sole? and is the boot a narrow/slim fit?
This boots sometimes have a sole that is chemical and oil resistant, but mostly they are with a pure leather sole, just as in the old Wild West days. They are a fantastic pair of boots, my lady wife has a pair and it is sometimes extremely difficult to get her to take them off and wear a different type of boot/shoe, that's how much she likes them. What better recommendation does one need?

do you make these shirts in wool and heavy denim?

what is the X for?
what is the x's on the hats such as 2X or 4X what does this mean
Hi, every X means it is better at withstanding the weather, the higher the X say 4X means it can handle near enough anything that can be thrown at it weather wise. Hope this answers your question?

Hi, in answer to your question, they are usually about 12 to 14 inches and not tight around the leg. They are a pl;easure to wear after they have been worn in a little, just like any boot.

I can tell you in all honesty, these boots are EXACTLY what they state they are! no question, they are some of the best boots I have ever owned in my 64 years of life (taking into account that one would only count the last 40+ years.). Hope this answers your question? I own 4 pairs from Sheplers and all are Western 'Cowhand' boots. I am still waiting for the FIRST pair to wear out!
