Which leather conditioner should I use with this boot?

Hello,

I believe the Justin Basic Roper is distressed leather. You would apply Distressed Leather Conditioner, which you can buy right here on the website. You may also use Bick 4 which would also be fine and keep your boots looking nice as well as protecting them.

Boot size conversion

I really love these boots and want to buy them but I'm nervous about boot size conversion (live in Australia). I have a 25 cm foot (9.8 inches). I own a pair of Ariat round toe cowgirl boots which are US size 7.5 C and Eur size 38 W. The Ariats are a very comfy snug fit but I definitely wouldn't go any tighter. Please help as I just love these boots!
Hello,

I can't blame you for being nervous, but perhaps I can help a bit? I, myself have wide feet as well, however, I also have a narrow heel. I own several pairs of Ariat-which are known to run wider- and though I am a 6.5, I buy a 7. My wide little feet can't fit past the shaft of a 6.5, but my heel has quite a bit of "wiggle" in the heel of the boot in a 7. It's just the way my feet are and I'm too impatient to have something custom or special ordered. So my advice to you:

If an Ariat US size 7.5 is comfy but snug, and these Dan Posts are a pointed toe and not square toed, I would go up to a US size 8 or perhaps 8.5. I would also gather that you will not be wearing these pretty boots mucking out horse stalls or even riding horseback, so if the worst is they are a little loose #which could be concerning if you were participating in the latter#, just don a pair of thick socks and keep your feet warm while you wear them. What is the shaft circumference on these boots?

Hmm, this is an interesting question. I have 8 pairs of boots that are high-shafted as well as several pairs of boot-cut jeans. I also don't have skinny calves as mine are rather muscular. I have never had the concern you are asking about. Without knowing what brand your jeans are or what kind of denim they are made of-which may be something to consider-I would gather that perhaps the problem lies with the jeans chosen when the boots are worn? Truly, ma'am, it's only a guess as I cannot see you. With that being said, I would highly recommend Wrangler Booty-Up Jeans or any western jean that Sheplers sells as all of them are made to wear with boots. Hope it helps and happy shopping!
