these boots are beautiful. better in person then on screen. i gave these as a Christmas present. was really wowed when the box was opened. the color, and quality are great. red can be hard to judge when viewing on screen. but these boots really came through. not a fire engine red, but more subtle. like a candy apple red. don't be scared guys. these boots are far from feminine! may get a pair for myself.

hot shade of purple

was skeptical to order purple boots online. as sometimes colors are not true when seen live, as opposed to print/screen. these are true purple. the best way to describe the color is that it looks like grape jelly. not in the jar. not that dark. but when you spread it and it becomes lighter. if you are a purple fan, buy these boots now! i gave them as a birthday present, and they have received so many compliments. even from strangers. also, typical quality from sheplers. great!

grey is hard to buy without seeing. as it has many different tones. this is a true light steel grey. the quality is excellent. typical of sheplers. there's no reason to shop anywhere else.

should I order the exact size I wear or go up 1/2 of a size?
confused whether I should order size 8 or size 81/2???
these fit true to size. also, the longer you wear your boots, they form to your foot, and almost become a second skin.

I wear an 8M women's. What size men's Old West Smooth Leather Cowboy Boots - Medium toe would I wear?
womens size is usually 2 sizes larger then a man. so if you wear an 8, you would need to order a 6. not sure if they come that small. good luck!
