Good Boots; Great Value!

These days it's hard to find good value but Sheplers Old West Smooth Leather Cowboy Boots are a great value! When I can get a new pair of boots that look and feel great (some of the best fitting boots I've worn) for a lower cost than I can get my old boots repaired, I'll take the new boots!

Are these boots suitable for horse riding ?
I am planning a week on a ranch horse riding,would these boots be suitable for this purpose or are they purely dress boots.
