Please tell me the difference between size 9 and 9/ - I need to be sure.

I wear 9.5D on regular shoes as well as Justin, Laredo and Durango cowboy boots. I wonder whether I should order 9.5 for Dan Post Waterproof Distressed Leather Western Work Boots. I don't know whether they run small or big. Please let me know. Thanks.
