After reading all the great reviews about this hat I decided to purchase one..I got the medium and it fits perfect. Had to go out and take care of my horses in a rain storm the other day and the hat performed just as advertised. You can't go wrong when purchasing this hat, the price is great too. It looks great on and even in the wind it stays put. I received the hat within a few days of ordering...Great customer service.

Is the band on the inside of the hat also made out of leather, or is there some kind of synthetic material on the inside of the hat which is not shown

The band on the inside is a soft comfortable elastic material. Does not bind on the head, but keeps the hat firmly where it should be.
