Fantastic fit and style for the price

Purchased a light brown pair in size 6. No break-in required! Most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Was so in love with them I bought a black pair but sized down to a 5.5 because I wanted to see the difference (I typically wear a 5.5 dress shoe) and expected to wear the black with skirts and dresses and a thinner sock. More snug as expected but still able to wear a boot sock comfortably and expect the break in to be minimal. I wore them for over 8 hrs the first day with no rubs, blisters, etc. For the money, you can't go wrong with this boot. Read the paper flyer -- they are right, the heal/anklel is loose but not too loose. You will love love love these boots.

Size Confusion?
I live in Australia and am very confused on what size to buy. I am usually a size 9 or 10 Aus and 41 Europe. I have a pair of cowgirl boots from NOVO shoes which are a size 10 Aus. If I go by Sheplers sizing chart I will end up with a size 12US and 44 Europe. So therefore am very confused as none of the sizing adds up. I am thinking of taking the gamble and buying a size 10US?
I wear a 35.5 European size and a 5.5 Us dress shoe and feel the fit is true to size. I would try whatever size is recommeded.

what is the circumference of this boot?
I am short and stubby. My calf is a whopping 14 inches around. The boot fits comfortably and you can still get fingers in the side with no problem.

I am 5 ft 1 in and the boot goes about half way between my knee and ankle
