Narrow, Narrow, Narrow

When I first tried to get my foot into these boots I thought my heel would rip right through the shaft! These boots are both narrow in the shaft and foot bed. So narrow was the shaft that I had to cut it (yes, CUT it) from 12" down to 9" just to get it to fit, then I had to slather my feet with cream and wear a cream-slathered nylon just to get my heel past what was left of the shaft. Now, before you say that these boots were too small for me let me tell you: I read all the reviews, read the boot's description and even called customer service for fitting advice. I ordered these in my proper size! They are just made small. I am hoping with time and effort these boots will stretch. The reason I didn't return them was because I didn't want to absorb the shipping fees and the UPS brokerage fees. Oh, and after all that...the right boot is made smaller than the left! Be forewarned...these boots are for women with narrow feet/calves!

Too High; faulty fit

Although I love the style and color of these boots they are really high. The right boot fit odd in the ball of the foot...somewhat faulty. Had to send them back. Will try ordering another style/height. Just wish these had fit properly as they did look fantastic with my dark jeans.
Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color
Cons: right boot had a faulty fit.

this boot runs large or runs small, which one is it?
I have read several reviews for this boot and some say "this boot runs small so order a half size larger" and yet others say "this boot runs large so order a half size smaller" so which is it...small or large? I usually wear a 7W (I have wide feet). BUT I have also read that this boot stretches somewhat... Was thinking if it stretches then I should order the 7B. Is the boot better if it fits a little too snug or a little too big?
This boot runs very, very small in the foot and shaft!

I have rather thick legs and wide calves. Could you tell me the calf circumference of this boot? Or suggest a boot that would work please?
Meganski. My calves are almost 20" around and these boots fit just fine. If you have large calves do not order boots longer than 10" in length. The longer the length of the boot the higher it will go up the calf (toward the knee and toward the largest circumference of the calf). These boots fit mid-way up the calf, not even close to the knee. Hope that helps.
