Beautiful jacket, perfect with matching boots!

Love my jacket! Matches the boots I had gotten earlier this year. I also got it a size larger as it seems to run a bit small. Long in front short in back with great buttons! My only concern is the shiney coating on it, it seems to be peeling off in the spots that bend a lot, like little crusty flakes. You can see the shine in the picture i took. I wore it in 20 degree weather and it seemed to keep me pretty warm from place to place. It is very well made and in the 2 hrs I wore it out I got at least 3 complements from strangers. They told me it was Pre water proofed but I redid it just to be sure with the same spray I use on my boots. And I had no problems with darkening it dried fine. Overall a great jacket that will last for years!

+How does the size run?
I am a large due to a large bust. Small shoulders and a size 10 on the bottom ( jeans) What size should I order. This is for my wedding reception in a couple of weeks, so not time to send back if size is wrong
I would order a size larger, I am usually a large and mine is xl. I tried large but was too snug.

Is this jacket water-proof? Can I use it during snow and rainy days?
They told me it was, but I used the same spray I used on the boots just to be sure and it worked great, it was just a leather boot spray and dried great no color change.
