Can you tell if the "Croc Skin" is real or not. If you had the real skin boots next to the printed leather,could you tell a difference just by looking?

I wear a size 9 D US in square toe Durango boots . Does this laredo cowboy boot run narrow in a size 9 D ?
Round toe Cowboy Boots tend to pinch me on the widest part of my foot at the base of the outside of my small toe and the outside of the bottom of the big toe. I have tried ordering 9W and my foot tends to swim around in them. Any advice?
